The Williamsville Secondary School's Farmer's Market

I don't know what it is about these pop-up shops or markets, but I am so in love with them. A couple of months ago, I tagged along with one of my friends who was a vendor at the Green Market in Santa Cruz. Major shout out to www.instagram.com/paige__tt you're basically the reason I love these markets.

There's just this buzz of activity and a lot going on simultaneously. But it's not overwhelming - it's intoxicating. The music, the food, the people, the atmosphere - everything is just a vibe, to be honest. It's a great event for vendors and consumers alike to network and great for building brand awareness especially if you have a small business.

The Williamsville Secondary School held their first Farmer's Market and it was such an awesome event and very special as well as it was my mum's first time as a vendor!

NMR Events With Us was present on the day!

Betty Bakes - this vendor sold some scrumptious currants and coconut rolls, kurma, sweet bread, coconut and wholewheat breads and bakes. Find them here:www.instagram.com/betty_bakestt

There were a number of other vendors present and the Williamsville Secondary School's local school board sold corn soup, pelau and drinks to raise funds for the school.

Date Night: Staying In Vs. Going Out

This is a short one! Don't forget Valentines Day is soon! I hope you have a great one filled with lots of sweet things. Such a day was created to tempt persons like me to steer away from our diet but i'm stronger than that. You will not defeat me this year sugar! An Open Letter to Myself.

Wow! It's been a minute since I last posted on this blog and I am terribly sad that it took me this long to get back to something I truly enjoy doing. This entire time I was freaking out thinking what should be my first post for when I return?
