My Natural Makeup Look

Rushing to get out of the house every morning usually leaves my face on empty. Not always from tiredness. In this instance, I mean with no makeup. I'm ok with leaving the house with no makeup on, honestly. I mean I have been doing it all my life, because I couldn't wear makeup to school, so there's that. But some days when I have to meet a client or just have a little extra time to get ready in the morning, I have a quick routine that has my face looking fresh and as close to my natural face as possible. So here's a step by step guide and a list of all the products I use to achieve it: Step 1: Fill me up: Eyebrows. I use an Arista eyeshadow single in the shade Matte Brown (available in Pennywise for $8.00 - $10.00 TT) and a very tiny angle brush and eyebrow comb/brush. I do not do anything super extravagant or do any shape that is not the natural shape of my brow and I only fill in spaces that aren't so full (with regular eyebrow hair). When my eyebrows are

Easter is Egg-citing!

I'm not sure about you, but Easter is one of my favourite times of the year - and yes, I enjoy Easter egg hunts even though I am beyond 7 years old. But who cares anyway? In 2017, I had an Easter party as a project for an Events Management course for my degree - cuz I mean, my whole life revolves around school basically. And even if you can't tell how much I feel like I am school and school is me, I had another Easter activity at a Children's Home last year, for another course (Social Entrepreneurship), LOL. I just love the whole notion of Easter and sure, it revolves around a sentimental occurrence for Christians but for everyone else it's still a great time for fun activities. Have an Easter Party - It doesn't have to be super extravagant or expensive, but you can gather up some kids you know (like relatives and family friends) and

The Williamsville Secondary School's Farmer's Market

I don't know what it is about these pop-up shops or markets, but I am so in love with them. A couple of months ago, I tagged along with one of my friends who was a vendor at the Green Market in Santa Cruz. Major shout out to  www.instagram.com/paige__tt  you're basically the reason I love these markets. There's just this buzz of activity and a lot going on simultaneously. But it's not overwhelming - it's intoxicating. The music, the food, the people, the atmosphere - everything is just a vibe, to be honest. It's a great event for vendors and consumers alike to network and great for building brand awareness especially if you have a small business.  The Williamsville Secondary School held their first Farmer's Market and it was such an awesome event and very special as well as it was my mum's first time as a vendor! Here are a couple of the vendors that I met: Seasonal Dishes - this vendor sold flavoured pepper sauces, kuchela, kurma and jui
